Good Upload Speed for Nvidia Shield?

     I just bought an Nvidia shield, and I've been wondering if I have a fast enough internet connection to run games at 720p (On the shield, obviously) at 60 fps without the quality becoming muddy.

I get around 3.2 Mb/s upload from my Ethernet connected PC, and 45-50 mb/s download. 

I don't know what kind of download speeds I'll get from my shield, as I don't have it yet. 

As for my modem/router, I'm using an ARRIS/Motorola SurfBoard SB6141 for my modem, and an ASUS RT-AC68U as my router. 

 

ALSO, does anyone know if the Shield can use the 5Ghz AC band? Or if it will get any tangible benefit from it?

linus at pax talked to the nvidia guy and he said you need 5 up and 5 down at minimum for out side your house.  Otherwise its all up to your router when you are at home streaming.

Ah, mine should be fine then as I'm not going to be using it outside :)
