Good tv for $250-300?

so my current tv is start to go towards the light (got it 10 years ago) so im thinking its time to upgrade, thought id check here for some advice rather then heading to the nearest walmart right off the bat (though i do get a 10% discount hmmm). any help is greatly appreciated some thing i would like it to have is:

1. hdmi hookup

2. at least 30in

3. 720p or better

4. decent sound but i may upgrade to surround soon so not a huge deal

5. good picture quality

 

again, any help/suggestions is greatly appreciated.

To be honest TV's in that price range won't differ much if you stick to descent brands, look for nice deals instead, like this Samsung which should have all you need and nice picture quality considering the price.

yah  i didnt think their would be a huge difference between tvs in this price range, their is a 30in element tv that i was looking at for $198. they are a fairly new tv brand (founded: 2006) but their holding thier ground from what i hear
