Got me the Fiio E10k last week and I'm in need of some need headphones. I want to get ones that can work with this amp. Also which would be better, open or closed?
As far as open vs closed, there is no real "better" option. More preference really, I prefer open but that's just me.
OK but what set of can would work with this amp?
Depends on your budget and what sound you prefer.
I prefer normal sound that get me clear audio to my ear holes. Also not really any budget but if i was to saw keep it about $200 maybe $250, $300 if its really good. I just want to get the best set of headphones to work with what the power of my amp can take.
I'd recommend trying as many different ones as you can and finding the pair that you like best. everybody hears differently and have different taste in what type of sound is pleasing to them.
I can tell you to avoid Bose and absolutely stay far away from Beats.
