Title says it all, I am looking for a good set of open headphones with deep lows, balanced mids, and crisp highs. Budget $100, guess I could go SLIGHTLY over, but not too much.
Also going to be using a modmic with these headphones.
The Sennheiser HD 518's sound up your alley. One of the more helpful reviews stated they were a bit bass-y. I have the HD 558's, which are $130 on Amazon right now, and I think the bass is every so slightly soft, but very natural. My Amp/DAC has a bass boost option, but I don't find it necessary.
