Hello everyone,
I have been looking around for a good gaming monitor for playing FPS games. My price limit is $250 and I would really like an LED backlit monitor. This is the monitor that I currently been looking at:

I'm not worried about the built in speakers as I'm just going to mute them anyway. Has anyone had any experience with this monitor? I know it is a more recent release.
Any other suggestions?

I have the same monitor, I think, except it's the 23.6 inch version and it works great. I play all kinds of FPS' and it fits the bill very well.
i reccomend the acer h23lbid its an ips panel, it doesnt have the super fast response time, but the visuals are so great id rather have the ips panel than the shorter response time (5ms vs 1ms)
IF you want fps monitor than you want a monitor with 120+HZ refresh rate like this one Asus VG248QE
its a bit above your budget but its worth it
Nice catch. I don't know why I never saw this monitor. It looks great. I might try and wait to see if I can find a rebate on it somewhere.
TN panels are crap, even the supoosed 1ms panels actually have worse response time and imput lag than AMVA or IPS/PLS panels of the same price range.
only 120Hz+ models will show a difference and its a minimal difference at best, so unless you're a pro FPS player, stick to another Panel Type.
dont worry so much about built in speakers, i wish i had them, it is annoying trying to show a couple of people at a lan that video on youtube and only having a headset to play audio on and no-one takes speakers to lans
