Good gaming laptop

I need help. I trust people enough on here to give me advice on two laptops. I am going on a trip, and need advice for a good gaming laptop for under $2000 and under $1000. Not sure what to get, I don’t like Alienware though.

What kind of games you want to play? I doubt you can get a gaming laptop under $1000, but for $2000 budget, I use Aftershock S-15, a rebrand of Clevo P650SE and it is absolutely fantastic as it is very flexible. Eurocomm, Sager and Origin PC offers rebrands of Clevo P650SE with wide variety of configuration. Basically, they are the so called custom gaming laptop.

I recommend getting these as you can get the best bang out of your buck. P650SE is also only 2.5kg, not too heavy considering the amount of hardware it packs.

I have been looking at the MSI GT80 2QE TITAN SLI. Know if that is anygood? Or should I go for something else?

You can get an older razer blade for relatively cheap nowadays if you want something really portable.

Yeah, it is a good laptop if you are the hulk.

Lemme ask, what is this laptop going to be doing exactly.

Are you going to be moving around a lot and you need something to play games on the go?

Or are you taking a trip to some single location that you will be stuck at for a long ass time?

Or is it some combination of the two?

If you are moving around a lot, I would get the razer blade like street guru suggests. It is fairly solid, light, and makes an excellent portable gaming machine.

If you are staying in a single spot, then yeah, that MSI laptop is awesome.

If you are doing a little of both, I would go with the lenovo Y50 4K. It can not play games at 4K, but if you turn things down to 1080p, it works really well. It packs a little more punch than the razor blade, but it is also fairly portable as well.

I am going to be going to Texas soon for quite some time, and Pennsylvania. But I want a good laptop to use while I am at Quakecon.

Ah, since you want something that is portable and powerful, I recommend you to look at this.
