Local computer technicians in my area are not very large, so I'm not expecting a job there. I , personally want a job where I can either repair or work with computers. (maybe even hardware)
become a recycler. buy any comp you see, strip it down to the steel and sell EVERYTHING EVEN THE SCREWS. You'd likely make a bit of money. especially of your willing to strip crts and psu's
I do a lot of computer repair on my own time. Put up a few flyers at my work area and got a good deal of customers wanting help with computer problems. If you do this, take into consideration any liabilities and make clear to customers that data loss is a possibility. Also, here's a line they always like to hear, "If I don't fix it, you don't pay me a dime!".
