Good cpu cooler

Anybody know a bang for the buck. Cpu water cooler, I don't want to spend more then 80 on one.

look at the corsair coolers. I have installed them in several computers. I use the H100i and have plenty of overclocking room. You can catch it on sale on Newegg for 80-90 bucks. also the H80i is a cheaper alternative that will give you some overclocking room and very stable temps. I prefer corsair because of the build quality, ease of installation, and reliability. I do not care for the stock fans that come with the Corsair coolers but they are good enough. I replaced my fans with better ones after a few months, only because I wanted to. Corsair link is also pretty cool. I allows you to connect to the cooler via USB and control fan speeds and monitor temps. Hope you find what you are looking  for and feel free to ask more about them :)

For air, the Notuas or the CM Hyper 212 series. Water, the corsair H series.

Get the noctua nh-u12 / 14.

Unless you are going for extreme oc , these are silent and dissipate a lot of heat.

I have a hyper 2 12 right now. But it does not keep my cpu really cool when I rendering video or playing

is your cpu an intel haswell based? Im running with an intel core i5 ivy bridge with a hyper 212 evo and it keeps my cpu well under 35c when Im web surfing and my room is normally 80-83 faren. I replaced the stock fan with 2 CM Stickle 120s. I did that mainly for cosmetic but when I am gaming, my cpu never goes above 50.

No my cpu is a amd 8350. I just picked a cm seidon 120m hopefully that keeps it cool
