right now i have the define r4 i love it but the 280 slim rad i have in the top i can not get the 140mm fans on cause the 8pin cpu is in the way so im looking for a case that can fit a 280 rad in the top and i have a think 240 rad in the front any recommendations
This may work. A friend of mine has similar setup and this is what he uses.
holy expensive lol, i like it and just looked at some "water builds" and seems like there is plent of space for a rad in the top but i would like to stay in the 100$ range 150$ max if possible
Well this is only case I'm aware of that'll do what you want well. I'll see if I can find a cheaper case. They have a cheaper option/color style for the case I linked earlier at ~$189. I understand this is still out of your price range.
yea ive seen alot of cases with rads in the top just hard to judge if its a 240 or a 280 ill just have to keep researching and see what i can find
Found this @ $150. It might support your config.
was just looking at that have always been a fan of the 750D, the main thing is the top spots need to be moved closer to the side of the case to allow for the rad like this cheap corsair case has it offset http://www.corsair.com/en-us/~/media/9691FC38834C495FB9B73FF38F060E1D.ashx?w=320 or the has to be enough room in the top
i like the h440 and the noctis 450 and it says works with 280 rads and i see pictures of push pull rad up top but no evidence if it 240/280
Hmm.....It will fit both of them from what I can tell(based on the specs/dimensions). Can you post the exact specs of the system your going build so I can see how much space you'll have to play with?
this is my current rig and like i say i can only get one fan on the top rad which is the 280 and its super slim and then i have the thick xspc 240 in the front looking for a new case so i can have both fans on the top rad >
i have this case and love it, it only says 240 rad mounts, and thats what i have in it but there are holes for a bigger one, im assuming its for a 280? anyone else can confirm this??
This will definitely have enough room, though you will need to rearrange the hard drive bays.
looks good to me was even on the site and didnt see this have used the source line before and like them so will probably be picking this one up in due time :) thanks alot
You're welcome.
I'm using an enthoo luxe (enthoo pro has same internals and is cheaper) i got a thick 360 in the top it'll fit a 240 or 280 in the front if you remove the hard drive cages but has mounts for 2 2.5s without the cages in it, you could easily put a hard drive in the optical bay which I have done.
enthoo luxe is $150 enthoo pro is $100
