Sounds like a waste of dollhairs. Do you ever think you'll actually need that? If you need the six cores I get it, but a single 680 would be perfectly fine for gaming. Then later on you could just throw some money down for a 780 or whatever and have a more efficient card. No point spending all that at once. But yeah, it's good. Might wanna go for a more wattage PSU since you are spending 4k..
Why not get two 7990's?
4k on high settings without any kind AA is possible today. But 4K maxed out (good AA, which should get unnessecary @4k due to the high pixel density ^^) isn't possible today, even with quad 690, or quad 7990. Maybe there's some info about this topic in the german magazine "PC Games Hardware" 3/12 which says it will inculde information about 4k Gaming. greetz
I think he means that his budget is $4000 lol.
It's not like anti-aliasing really matters at that resolution anyway.
waste of money bro. not sure why you'd want that mess... but go for it... A pc half the price will look basically identical to yours in pretty much every situation unless you had a stopwatch to tell.
while you're at it can you send me some cash? after you've lit a bonfire in your front yard made out of money to keep warm.
Don't spend more than 2K on a computer. The performance will be identical except in extreme redering situations. If you build a 1.7 - 2K computer, you can spend the rest on a fantastic monitor setup, such as three 2560x1440 monitors (name-brand). NEVER spend that much on a single computer unless you simply have the money to waste.
