Tell me what u think

ik i went overkill on power supply but i wanted to crossfire when i have enogh money for an other card

the one thing i want is to have a ssd i was thinking to get a 7950 but will the 7970 show a huge improvement?

this is the ssd i want http://www.newegg.com/Product/Product.aspx?Item=20-227-915&ParentOnly=1&IsVirtualParent=1

Pc uses : gaming and video editing ( Sony vegas )

if u can make a better build post it . (i want a full tower case)

Even for a 7970 CF situation (for 2 cards), an 850W PSU will be more than enough. I would get a Seasonic X 850 instead, unless you plan on getting 3 cards, in which case 1000W is reasonable. Instead of the Asus Sabertooth, I would get a Gigabyte 990fx UD3, UD5, or UD7. I prefer the all black design, and the price is very reasonable. Gigabyte makes great boards - I almost got one for my build, but I was drawn in by the Republic of Gamers Asus boards ;)

Unless you are sold on the Phantom, I would get a Fractal Design Define XL R2. I have a FD Define XL USB 3.0 (Titanium Grey), and I absolutely love it. Great quality for the price, and just killer looks. It's a bit cheaper, and it will offer just as much room for expansion and cooling as the Phantom. Fractal makes some great products.

If you want a better single card, get the 7970. If you get a 7950, though, along with all of the other changes, you would easily have enough money to fit a 120/128GB SSD into your budget. With a 7970, though, you will get more performance, naturally. I always go with the single strongest card I can get, but if you want to fit a larger SSD, such as a 256GB one, you may want to get a 7950.

Aside from that, you have thrown together a really good system. I would look into getting a nice mouse and mechanical keyboard, on top of everything else. I used cheap-o products for years, until earlier this year, when I bought a mechanical keyboard (Rosewill 9000 w/ Cherry MX Switches), and a nice mouse (Logitech g600 black). It changes so much! Using the computer becomes a lot more enjoyable. Sure, they are 'luxury' items, but you won't regret getting a nice set of peripherals :)

how about this ? http://pcpartpicker.com/p/Ltfu

In my opinion video editing won't gonna work with 8gb of RAM.  I would be going for atleast 16gb of RAM ;)

I don't normally do this BUT I'd recommend going nVidia if you want to run dual cards in the future. SLI seems less buggy/more stable than xfire does, so you're going to get a better value by going that route.

In addition I find you're most recently picked case to be horrendously ugly, and your processor wont natively support 2133.

This is the route I'd go..

You could go with dual 670's if that total is too much. And I realize you're only buying one card now. I just threw both in to show the cost.

And you're pretty stupid, extra. Video editing works just fine with 8GB.

Easy with the fanboyism Toasty, Radeon 7xxx series wipes the floor with Nvidia in gpgpu computing see for instance how much is 7790 better than 660 gtx in sony vegas http://goo.gl/Wdy39

If i do recall correctly, 7870 is twice as stronger than 680 gtx in gpgpu computing...

Fanboyism. My brain just exploded.

I run a full AMD setup (8350 and 5850) and you're calling ME a fanboy? Did you even READ what I said in my post?

*headdesk*

And my name is Toast.

but did u no tht amd cards are better for sony vegas so im going to get a 7970
