Good budget cases under £60 (100$)

Ok guys, I've been keeping my rig in a crappy cheap case for the last few months, and I think it time for an upgrade. It must be a mid tower under £60, good airflow and cable management features, and I would prefer a case with a see-through side panel and LED fan(s) at the front. I've had a good browse online, but there seem to be so many different cases and I can't seem to make a choice. So, what do you guys recommend??

How about the NZXT Lexa S?

The case I have is the Logysis Area 51 Mid-Tower Case, it does pretty good comes with a 80 MM fan on the side and that is about it.

Hmm... I've got two 6850s and a 2600k @ 4.5GHz. They kick out a lot of heat.

Your case wouldn't be much of an upgrade from the one I have now.

Best budget case

That or CM HAF 912 for the same price.

the silver define r3 is 99.99 on newegg thats usd though and you say its about 100 usd so thats in budget and i have the antec 300 i love the case but the cable management is a joke(sorry lol) id say define r3 like green said or haf 912

I'm using the NZXT Tempest Evo, which is pretty similar to the Lexa S. I think the only real difference is that the Tempest Evo doesn't have a door.

Other cases to check out too could be the HAF 922, Cooler Master 690 II, and Cooler Master Storm Scout.

Cooler Master is also coming out with their Storm Enforcer soon as well.

Here's what the Tempest Evo looks like:

oh i totally forgot about the CM 690 ii get that. its the best case you'll ever find for the price!(:

HAF 912 is the best option for you

i agree with razerboi haha well for there pretty equal in air flow but the bigger fans on the HAF are quiter with probably more airflow instead of equal and it looks evil... i love it!(:

Cheers guys, I think I've narrowed it down to these:

NZXT Lexa S / Tempest Evo

HAF 912

cooler master storm scout

Cooler Master 690 II

I like the look of the Tempest Evo the most, but I cant find it for any less than £75, it's more expensive than the Lexa S for some reason.

Out of them, i'd pick the CM 690 II.

90% of the worldwide population have a HAF, it's ugly as hell.

Storm scout is nice, but also somewhat tiny (pathogenx have/had one, ask him)

i currently am using the storm scout , unless you have a modular PSU cable management in the scout can be a bitch plus if you are to install big aircoolers you might have to remove the exhaust fan on the top depending on the model of the motherboard and the placement of CPU socket

Thanks for the info, I'm using a Mugen 2 and a non-modular PSU, so I will probably rule out the storm scout.

id say either cm 690 ii or HAF 912 those are both AMAZING cases for the price and there down right sexy imo

Just keep in mind that if you go with the CM 690 II that you're probably going to have to spend money on extra fans in order to really take advantage of it. The NZXT Tempest Evo actually comes with fans installed in every fan mount; I still ended up replacing all of them in mine though.
