Finally going to take my CCNA cert exam on February 12th. It's been a long time coming, I've been kind of putting it off since I got my ccent last May but their is only so many times I can read about spanning tree protocol before I blow my brains out lol. On another note i have decided to only run Kali Linux from now on and also I will only run it on my pi and laptop. Ubuntu is way to buggy and I don't have time to invest in always fixing it and honestly Windows 10 has been fine for me.
Good luck to you. I'm planning on taking it in the spring, and still haven't decided if I'm taking the ccent first.
Out of curiosity where did you study? I mean did you take a local course, online course or did you just buy the book?
Training provided by Cisco. i actually have five years in the field and was trained by the marine corps to be a cyber network operator. So we get training from Cisco and Comptia instructors. I also have books and do labs and watch YouTube videos on the subject and I do it everyday for my job. So I guess to answer your question it's really a mix of things but I would say I leaned more toward the hands on approach to learning
Well you got lucky then. Their courses are expensive.
Yeah that's usually the best approach to learn something fast. But I feel like to have a more "complete" knwoledge you have to do both: field action (experiment with the stuff you learned in a real life scenario) and studying.
Anyway, good luck!
