I graduate from The University of Michigan in August, I'll have a degree in Screen Arts and Cultures because mistakes were made.
Anyway, I do multimedia stuff, until recently I was pretty much in control of Road & Track's whole online-video presence, but working for a giant corporation like Hearst wasn't for me, so I quit/was laid off, whatever I don't work there anymore.
I've been working on my dad's old Macbook Pro since I bricked my PC over a year ago. It's been surprisingly pain-free when working on projects under five minutes long, but the thermal throttling is ridiculous for anything longer. I've also been teaching myself to 3D model lately. So there are tons of reasons I need to build a PC on top of the fact that console peasantry sucks.
This is the build, yes I know I need a graphics card, I'm going to steal a friend's crappy old Radeon until I can afford to buy myself something decent.
I've already got a Define R5 for the case.

Thoughts? I'd really like some info on MSI's fan control software, or lack thereof.
