Gigabytes Z390 Designare. Only 1 of the few reasonably priced mainstream Z390 MB's that has its X16 PCI-e and M.2's directly wired to the CPU via a lane switch option in the UEFI

I’ve been wanting to run raid 0 on a Z390 platform with 2 1TB 970pro’s. and not have the DMI 3.0 X4 bottleneck.
I have only found one mainstream MB other than MSI’s GODLIKE and Gigabyte’s Aorus Extreme and Water Force boards with M.2 riser cards that can run raid 0 and have two X4 lanes wired directly to the cpu in a X8 X4 X4 configuration.
There are 2 Z390 MB’s that have PLX chips like the SuperMicro board and ASUS’s WS Z390 but, there just to expensive pushing $400.
plus the Z390 Designare has dual thunderbolt 3 ports with 40Gb’s bandwidth.
I just think a board that is so great should get its recognition.

Is the TB3 interface sharing the DMI bandwidth?

Cool to see USB-PD implemented, I was rather pissed Gigabyte did not include that on the x399 Designare
