So I recently decided to expand my storage using the internal slim sas connector’s on the motherboard.
For whatever reason I can seem to get the drives to show.
I have tried the following:
Tested the drives on a single sata all work fine.
Using a slim sas to x 4 Sata they don’t show at all. (I have tried multiple cables)
I have changed the bios options from raid to sata and vice versa.
Am I missing anything, it’s driving me insane!
Thanks in advance.
Did you also set the slimline mode to SATA in BIOS? It’s set to PCIe by default. If not, check under the PBS menu.

Yes sorry that is what I meant when I changed from raid to sata
Only other suggestion I have is to check what port you’re plugged into. Two ports can be toggled between SATA/PCIe and the other is PCIe only.

Thank you, I did wonder why there was 3 but only 2 showed up in the bios.
I tried both and still no luck it’s very frustrating to be honest.
