Commissar that wasn't his question, and gigabye is a fine company, Alav I don't see any reason why it wouldn't work but I can't say for sure, I've had lots of issues with adapters made by the same gpu vendor not working before. But that should work I don't see a reason why not, yet...

I'm a little confused as to why you want a display port adapter though when you already have a DVI port on the back of the card and every monitor out there is going to have DVI.
you never know when you need an adapter from display port. thats the only reason. plus if i wanted to try triple monitor, ill need the adapter. Unless there is something that i dont know about..
