Hey everyone, I have a 4 monitor setup I’m doing some troubleshooting on at the moment.
Pictured are the following:
• Main: Gigabyte M32U (4k, 144Hz)
• Top: Acer EI322QUR (1440p, 165Hz)
• Sides: Lenovo P24-q (1440p, 60Hz)
I’ve since upgraded my main monitor to a MSI MAG 321UPX (4k, 240Hz) (leaving the top and sides the same) but since then, I cannot drive all 4 monitors.
I’m using a Gigabyte Gaming OC 4090, which has 3x DP1.4 and 1x HDMI 2.1 out.
I’ve tried changing inputs and outputs, I’ve tried lowering resolutions and refresh rates on the “non-main” panels, I’ve tried running one of the displays off of the motherboard HDMI or DP ports, I’ve even tried DisplayPort daisy-chaining as my two Lenovo monitors support it. Nothing seems to be able to allow me to have all 4 working at the same time.
Anyone have any experience with a similar problem? Grasping at straws here.
Put this in the motherboard category as I think my best chance at a solution is trying to run one of the 2 side displays from the iGPU, and the other 3 from the dGPU. My thought is that DSC is consuming 2 headers on the dGPU and therefore not allowing me to output to 4 displays. My problem with this solution is I cannot seem to get display output at all on the monitor I plug directly into the motherboard.
