Ghostery alternatives?

I've been using Ghostery for Firefox for a while, but I've discovered that the extension has a fairly big impact on Firefox's performance. I need something more lightweight, much like µBlock vs AdBlock Plus.

Also: I do not intend to block ads on teksyndicate, because I don't mind them. I simply want to control the trackers myself, and also use it for educational purposes.

Also 2.0: Do not recommend Chrome, Firefox is my choice.

Blur is really nice and it seems to be lighter weight as well

I used ghostery for a long time untill about a month ago. Now I use "Privacy Badger" by the Electronic Frontier Foundation. Iike it more because there is an option to allow trackers to run but not leave cookies in your PC. With ghostery it was just on or off.
