Since GOG put forth its own version of early access (that is actually done right) I saw a few very interesting games in.

Saw that recently and will keep an eye on I don't bother with early access games myself. Plenty of other released to titles to play in the mean time.
You more buy it to support the devs than anything else. The GOG version of the system is heavily curated and gives a 14 day money back guarantee. It is not comparable to the Steam way of doing things.
Good point I forgot that and immediately dismissed it when I saw it on Steam. I'll have another look on GOG.
