Getting some upgrades

I am getting ready to buy a new hard drive, more RAM, and a mouse. The hard drive I am looking at is here. Will I notice that much of a difference with a 16 or 32 mb cache?

The RAM Im looking at is here.

For the mouse, I am either looking at this or this. I have seen a few good reviews for the first mouse. I have heard the OCZ mouse has problems with Vista and x64 systems but I went on their forums and was told it works fine on them so Im not sure. If anyone has any incite on this, please share.

Do these products look like good upgrades to you guys? If you've had any experience with these products, please let me know the pro's/con's. Also, if you know of any better deals (on newegg) please let me know.

get a WD caviar black instead
ram is good
not a fan of either mouse

both those mice are shit, get a deathadder you wont be disappointed

HDD: WD Black/RAM: Good/Mouse: DeathAdder

WD Caviar Black or Samsung spinpoint F1 ram is good but yo could also look at Corsair Dominator OCZ Blade mouse death adder or cybersinpa Stinger  Â

Thanks for the suggestions guys, but why is the WD Caviar Black so much better (I dont know a lot about hdd's)? Also, is $50 for a mouse really worth it? If it is, whats the difference between the Death Adder and the Diamondback. I looked at their specs and they look almost exactly the same. My guess is the grip? Lastly, will I see that much of a difference between a cloth mouse pad and one of the rubberized type pads like the Goliathus?

Caviar blacks have 32mb of cache buffer thus making them very fast.  As for a  mouse, look into the Razer Deathadder or the Logitech G9 (note: the G9 is $50 at Best Buy & Amazon right now...the G9x is not needed as it has a crazy DPI of 5600 & who is honestly going to use that).

Yeah, the WD blacks harddrive's is really good. Fast and 1000 times more quality then samsung and seagate..

When I get my Adder it improved my games, trust me, it will be yourbest investment on a computer accessory, it was for me.

5600 DPI

\ Me on the Razer Mamba.

Have to say this tho for all the nubs; New "gaming" gear isn't gonna make you any better, it just helps you with comfort and precision. Highest DPI is mostly never needed. Adjust the DPI for your liking and preference, don't care what the other's one got it at, as you most likely have other prerferences.

That being said, I own a "Saitek Cyborg gaming mouse" It's freaking sex. Although I get owned by my friend with a generic logitech mouse in CSS.

Is there that much of a speed difference between a 16 and 32 mb cache?
I think I will be getting the Death Adder, but should I get a "gamer" mouse pad? Right now I just have a regular cloth one.

ive said this before but i have a razer destrucot, but cuz it was free...

stick with what you have

Its quite a big difference imo.
For mousepad;
Steelseries QCK+

Cavair Black is amazing.

Ok, I have just a couple last questions. First, is the 750 gb Caviar Black somehow worse than the 500 gb and 640 gb versions? Because it has gotten some lower reviews. And second, what do you guys think of the Death Adder compared to the Logitech G5?

I say Deathadder over the G5.

I have a G9, its a good mouse had no probs with it ae.
