Hey guys.
I know that after a factory reset you can still get data off phones. Is there any programs you recommend to zero the free space on the phone to get it ready to sell?
I know I should have encrypted it from the start but unfortunately I have not done that.
Any help would be appreciated .
P.S. I use android samsung S5.

No. unfortunately not.
Yea, no real way to do it with out that. I'd recommend factory wipe about 3 times.
you could also try filling it up with large worthless files before you wipe it a few times. Data can be recovered because when you delete it all the computer does is tell the mbr that those blocks can be written too. All the permanent delete software found on computers does is force write 0s or 1s over the deleted data. So in essence filling it with junk files would overwrite the deleted data in theory.
That's a good idea. I am going to turn on android encryption then fill the phone with useless data then do factory reset a few times over.
Encrypt it and then wipe it. Any data left is encrypted and almost impossble to decrypt if don't NSA get their hands on it.
