Getting a new gaming system

I'm planning to build my first gaming rig and my price tag lies between 600 and 875 Euro's. I think thats between 700 and 1000 Dollars. I've carefully selected the components on a Dutch website called alternate.nl

Here's what I've got so far:

Motherboard - ASrock Fatal1ty z77 performance (€ 144)

CPU -  i5-2500k processor (€ 202)

GPU - XFX HD7850 Double Dissipation (€ 184)

CPU Cooler - Cooler Master Hyper TX3 EVO (€ 22)

PSU - OCZ Fatal1ty 750W (€ 97)

HDD - Seagate ST1000DM003 Barracude 7200.14 (€ 72)

Optical drive - LG GH24NS70 (€ 16)

Case - Sharkoon Tauron Red Edition (€ 80)

RAM - G.Skill 8 GB DDR3-1600Mhz (2 x 4GB) (€ 40)

Total: € 860

Perhaps some advice would be nice, I mostly play games like Skyrim and The Witcher 2.

I'm not paying for an operating system, I'll get the pirate version for €0

... honestly, who still pays for Windows?

The 750W PSU is a bit overkill for a 7850, unless you are going to add a second one down the road.

Personally, I'm not really an alternate fan, I usually go with zercom.eu, afuture.nl or caseking.de.

And for the OS, I still pay for my Windows versions...

looks good build it

Well, the reason for the 750W is simple. As you can see the motherboard supports CrossfireX. Maybe I'll go for a 2-way card setup in the future, and there's always room to add an SSD later.

Oh and Alternate is by far the cheapest, I've copied the exact same specifications to Zercom.eu and it costs €893 on their site.
