I am getting a new gaming headset today and I want to know what is the best choice as of today in the 50-80 dollar price range. There are alot of different models and I was thinking of getting a razer charachiriris or whatever you call it which is 80 bucks but I dont now if it really is that good. I want it to have a really good mic and directional audio so I can tell where a sounds coming from, with these two things in mind I also need it to fit a fairly large head and the mic, directional audio, and it fitting my head is most important, audio quality doesnt need to be absolutely perfect but should sound pretty good. Thanks in advance

Dr.Dre... he makes rap beats... how does that have anything to do with gaming?

Rock and Metal has something to do with gaming... not sure what it is.
They just ... fit. lol
I'd recommend the USB Version of the Fata1ty or the Plantronics as posted above. :)
Good Luck :)

>$300+ headphones
>$50-80 budget
yea, i'm sure he likes that delicious $220-250 deficit in his bank account. imo, get a cheap mic and a good pair of headphones. if you already have some real nice headphones, all you'd need a cheap mic!

The sound quality on these headphones is not bad, They just are not made for music.
Hence the name "Gaming" Headphones
