Garry's Mod Menu Glitch :/

So whenever I try to load up Garry's Mod when it's about to get to the menu, it freeze's on the background picture and does nothing. I have contacted Steam Support, but was told to contact the dev. Has anyone else had this issue before?

Yes, I have had it running before on my crap PC. It just stopped working one day and have not heard of this glitch happening to anyone else.

Try calling garry, its his mod.

Verify the integrity of the game cache in steam.

If the cache turns out good try uninstalling/reinstalling the whole game.

I forgot to mention I have done both those things, When I verified the intergrity of game cache, it said there was something wrong but it did nothing.
