Id get a 3570K not a 3470, if youre not dead set on getting that case i know the R4 is about 30$ cheaper ATM and then you could get a 1TB HDD for 70$ ( some segates and WD greens/Blues are around that price point if you look) and hopefully get a 128GB SSD.
OH!!! almost missed that, way to much RAM, i mean 16GB (not sure what speed you choose) is nice but 8GB of DDR3-1600 will be more than enough and cost around 35-40$
you could also do some other things like get the Asrock extreme 4 and/or get something like an XFX PSU which for 70$ you could probably get 650Watts if you wnats or get 500 for cheaper ect...
Looks good, but if you're gaming get an i5-3570k and don't go for the i7, it's not worth it. You'll only get 2-3 fps more on average, if you plan on video editing and such go for the i7. And if you want to overclock make sure you grab a cooler.
What do you exactly mean by a "proper" PSU? As fair as i can tell a 500W is plenty fine for a single GPU setup, but i changed it to a Roswill 650W just in case.
By proper i mean a psu that is not a budget based psu that is known for being less then stellar for it's price. The CX series is far to expensive for it's specs and it's known reputation for having coil whine, for a similar price you can get a XFX 550 for example which gives a larger warranty, more power and is far superior in design(seasonic based guts).
A Blue is cheaper than that Green you listed by around $15-20. If you want more money to put to other stuff, I'd try switching that case( I recommend a Corsair 300R or 200R). But if you like that case, then change that motherboard, your spending way too much on it. Something like an ASRock Z77 Extreme4 or a Gigabyte GA-Z77X-UD5H would do just fine. With that extra money( from either/ both my suggestions), you could split the money on your drives, and maybe get a 1TB Caviar Black( really fast HDD, gives you fast program start-ups[ provided they are in that drive] without giving up space) and/ or a bigger SSD, like a Kingston HyperX 3K or an A-Data XPG SX900 or an OCZ Vertex 4
