I've built two PC's on PCpartpicker, one is Intel the other AMD. Which one would do better for gaming? Diablo III, Minecraft (with mods), Metro 2033, TF2, and mostly PC exclusives? My max price is $750

If you go with the AMD build go for the Phenom II X4. Its either 8 core or Phenom II x4 because X6 is hard to find now. With both builds you could get a 6870 unless your gonna OC your 6850. Also look into a good aftermarket cooler if your going with AMD. Maybe a 212 evo or something along those lines. Then you can OC the cpu and get more performance out of it.
The first one will definatly be more cost effective, powerful and sexy with a amd, I run the phenomII 6 core and i have to say for 2 years it has run like a champ...Now if the seagate hard drives would just stop dying......:(
