I bought a new laser gaming mouse http://goo.gl/QYp0Mv its all fine and dandy. But my mouse pad is werid. Its a cheap mouse pad that that I got from a convention.. It has background and white text with red also.
At a certain point on my mouse pad (near where it crosses over the black to white text) it just like skips, or stops? it goes then stops.... Its really a pain in-game..
Do you guys know any good gaming mouse pads? I am looking for soft mouse pads. I was looking at the Xtrac pads. They are huge and cheap but I wasn't quite sure.
Any recommendations on gaming mousepads or regular mouse pads would be great!
I have an Xtrac Ripper XXL, and it is a great mouse pad. Decent tracking, covers a huge area, but gets dirty easily. I use it as a desk cover on one of my work tables.
If you want a hard pad, though, the Func 1030 series is fantastic. Best mousepad I've ever used - I want to get my hands on the new model, the 1030^2, but if it's anything like the original 1030/1030 XL, it's fantastic.
I suppose it really just depends on your preference for hard mats or soft mats.
I really like the Razer Goliathus mouse pads. I've bought a control one for gamming and a speed one. I prefer the control variant the best. I now use the speed one at work. Also, gifting my brother in law one of these mouse pads since i saw he has some shitty dell mouse pad when i was visiting.
Here is a large pad from work. I think their images on the stie suck. They give dimensions, but I like pics with size references. http://i.imgur.com/lH97HYv.png
+1. One of the only Razer products I would recommend is the extended Goliathus. Pretty damn good mat and goes all down under the keyboard and everything. Feels a lot less limited!
Otherwise, most decent sized soft mouse mats from reputable brands are good. Steelseries offer a few good ones too.
I use a Sharkoon Darkglider mousepad, well made and has held together very well with stitched edges and all that. Feels better than the Steelseries Qck in my opinion even after being used into the ground (vs a brand new Qck Heavy) Nice and thin, firm surface and the mouse glides like a charm (Mionix Naos 5000 and a Sharkoon Darkglider before the left click started acting up.) Some slight fraying on the edges of course but it's not anywhere near falling apart and would probably last me a good year if I didn't have a Star Citizen Goliath pad (reprinted razer Goilathus) pad in the mail to replace it. (not because the Darkglider pad is wearing out, just getting a larger pad)). Sometimes the off brand is a good thing.
