Hello everybody, my 3570k gaming rig is almost complete. Still need to get a graphics card (7770) keyboard and mouse. Black and red is my color scheme but I can bend it if I need to.
Im prety set on the 7770 as I'm no extreme gamer but it works for what I need. I'm looking at either the ASUS or Shapphire. Should I go with one of these or another brand.
For the keyboard I'm set on the MaxKeyboard X9 Nighthawk with some slight customizations.
The biggest thing I have a hard time deciding is the mouse. I have no clue where to begin. Bugget is around $40-$60.
Razer Deathadder or any Zowie mouse. I had a deathadder and the only issues with it are the lift off distance (which I didn't really notice) and the glossy sides which really did bug me but they do a black edition which fixes that and the zowie mice are basicly the same shape but more refined materials from what I have seen. I have a Logitech G500 atmo and I really don't like it at all tbh.
+1 Razer Deathadder. I have the 'latest' EU version with 3.5G sensor, and it's really amazing. Drivers and software works just fine, and Razer Synapse 2.0 Cloud Config Software is amazing if you're going to use the mouse with other PCs (laptop, LAN-rig, HTPC, whatever you got) + it's self-updating. Best mouse I've ever had in my hand. Fits it 128%. Amazing mouse.
As for the GPU... why would you go for a high-end 3570K platform and get a mid/low-end GPU? Just curious.
My currect monitor is around 1440x900, not too large. Its benifits me two ways. Its a card I can get started on and give to my brother when he starts build a pc while I save up for a more high end card.
Plus I don't play many of the "modern day" games yet so I think it fits for now. If you could recommed a better card around $150-$225 I would apreciate it very much.
P.S. just OC the 3570k to 4.4 no problem. Can't boot with 4.5 yet.
No personal experience, but for a mouse I've been looking at the Steelseries Sensei Raw for a little bit. Seems like a nice choice for a quality wired gaming mouse without going overboard.
