So I can't really decide which Mobo to get.
CPU: AMD FX8350
GPU: GTX 670
I wanted to do some OC, btu have no experience with it yet.
The Mobos I was tending to are:
ASRock 990FX Extreme 4 and the Asus M5A99FX Pro R2.0
Don't know if the Sabertooth or the Fatal1ty would be much better, but I could easily safe the money
If you can afford it get the Extreme 9 12+2 power phase (great overclocking) the extreme 4 has overheating and cpu throttleing problems
The asus is better than the extreme 4 but only a 6 + 2 Phase
well the Extreme 9 is a bit too expensive. Over here in Germany it costs about 60€ more than the Asus
For OCing, the Asus Crosshair IV Formula is ideal. However, it isn't really any 'better' than a Gigabyte UD3. If you can, get the ROG series of Asus boards; they are rediculously good. However, Gigabyte boards are great. Stay away from the lower end AsRock boards, and away from MSI AM3+ boards. Just get something with 990FX no matter what.
Ok, I think the Gigabyte UD3 seems right. I've had a couple of GB Mobos before and never any problems, but since I never stick to one brand I considered all Mobos.
Also I really like the all-black colors of the GB since I'm getting a NZXT Phantom 410 in Black
Any other suggestions?
Yeah - one more; Fractal Design Define R4 instead of Phantom; looks better, and less plastic.
isn't that a bit subjective? I don't really like the R4 + I want to see my hardware.
