Gaming laptops nowadays?

Hey everyone,

So I have 2 PC’s in my house that I built and a regular i7 Dell (non-gaming) laptop.

I was thinking of selling one of my gaming PC’s, including monitor, mouse and keyboard for $1500 CAD and my laptop for $500 CAD.

My questions is, can I get a decent gaming laptop for $2000 CAD? Is it worth it? My current desktop has a 4690k, 16 GB RAM and a GTX 970, so I’d like to get similar performance.

That's definitely a good suggestion. Unfortunately, Canadian hardware is almost always inflated way past the actual exchange rate of the dollar. That laptop will probably be closer to $2300 from a Canadian retailer.
