Gaming Laptop for the upcoming holidays

I received a pay increase and bonus at work; wanting to look for a new gaming laptop to take with me when I go on vacation this upcoming holiday season.  I'm torn between the ability to spec out a laptop very much like a desktop through Origin and the standard picks from MSI, ASUS, and Razer.  Budget is 3-4K with 4K being the absolute highest I could pay out the door.  I've been seriously looking at the Razer Blade Pro because of the screen and I know it is way over-priced for what you get; but it is still pretty sweet.  I don't mind if I have to keep it plugged in more often than not.  I just want SPEED, GRAPHICS, and enough room to keep the full season of the original "Twin Peeks".  Oh; and play games like LoL, CS:GO, etc... 

 

Any advice?

Razer Blade Pro is a beautiful device, and yeah it's damn expensive.

Take a look at some laptops with the new 970m and 980m chips?  If you're fine with a 17" form factor, the Aorus X7 pro should be coming soon and is quite a badass system.

+1 ..... Those do look like they may even have proper air flow and cooling for GPUs which is Achilles heel in most gaming laptops.
