Looking to buy a new gaming headset with a noise canceling microphone 

im looking to cancel out the sound of people in the backround because with current mic every word the people behind me(bout 5 feet away) say can cleary be heard with everyone in my skype

100$ max has to absolutley be under that price

That's not gonna happen but you can try to get an older pair of Astro A40's (corded) I got a new pair for $175 ... best headset I've used to date.

My Plantronics GameCom 780 does a surprisingly good job of blocking out background noise.  Not 100% perfect, but better than any other headset I've used
