Gaming/Editing PC Build

I am building a gaming/editing PC (70% gaming, 30% editing) and my max budget is $950 (if possible, I don't want to spend all my money). I already have a copy of windows 7, so I'm not putting the OS into the list. I want to get max gaming performance at 1080p and decent performance at rendering. I'll probably overclock my CPU (getting around 4.2 GHz ) and here are my Intel and AMD options.

Intel : http://pcpartpicker.com/p/taaR

AMD : http://pcpartpicker.com/p/tadu

So what do you guys think? Should I go Intel or AMD? Is there anything to be changed about the parts in the list, perhaps better case or bigger PSU or anything else?

There are both decent options.

The AMD option is more for hyperthreading as it can take advantage of the 8 cores, also it can multitask better

The Intel option perform much interms that it can render way faster and is better for editing

The i5 usually beats the 8320 in gaming but it is really personal preference but can still compete with it.

BTW i have an amd cpu so don't think I am bias towards the intel cpus :P

Hope that helps

Is the difference gonna be big in gaming? I mean, is it gonna be like 20fps difference between them?
