Hi
I'm buildng my first gaming PC.
Budget is $1200.
It will be mostly a gaming PC, but also for daily use.
Might want to get into overclocking in the future.
Currently I mostly play Guild Wars 2, DayZ and modded Skyrim. But also looking forward to some new games (Black Desert Online for example).
Plan to use 2 monitors. One 1080p for gaming and second one for multitasking.
This is what I have put togheter so far:

Could use some critique, ideas and suggestions.
Thanks in advance!
No need for such fancy/pricy RAM.
I think the R9 280X would be a better choice since it has 1 GB more VRAM than the 770. It'll help push the other monitor and hi-res textures(if you have them for skyrim)
Also, the windowed version of the Define R4 Blackout is on sale for $10 cheaper than the non-windowed version.

But dose'nt the GTX 770 perform a little better or there is no noticable diffenece?
Yes it dose, if your just on one screen. But the difference is almost not noticeable. If you use more then one screen 3GB VRAM are way better, considering your not connecting the 2.Screen to your mainboard. If your using the 2. Screen only for multitasking it doesn't make a big difference, but the 280X is a bit less expensive and has the extra 1GB VRAM for games like Skyrim. Bud sad, the difference is not noticeable and you be god off with both cards, so choose whatever you want.
I have a 770 and I have 2 screens hooked up to the GPU and 2 to my mainboard and I never had problems with my 4 screen build. That sad I come from a Nvidia tradition but for my next build for my cousin I get him a 280X. He loves Skyrim and he can use the extra 1 GB VRAM.
Greetings

Do I also need to upgrade my psu if I get the R9 280x? This one is discounted in my area atm:

Sapphire homepage says it needs a 750W PSU.
They say you need such high wattage power supplies since a lot of power supplies are complete crap and it's a lot safer to go high than go low.
The one you've picked will work nicely.
I agree with Tech Noob, the CSM 650 you picked is efficient and probably good. I tried to find the specs and Corsair does not list them. It seems to be their lowest rung PSU, maybe a replacement for CX. My guess it's likely very good.
Compare with Seasonic G 550, another gold supply that is probably rated at a higher temperature. (A PSU rated for 650 W at 50*C is better than one rated for 650 W at 30*C.) This supply was reviewed by jonnyguru and others and is known to be excellent.
You are going to be using 325 W to 400 W.
I'd estimate 400-450w, but the CSM650 should work just fine.
Seasonic and XFX(seasonic oem) have some really great power supplies.
It's rated at 40°C.
I've been considering the option to maybe add a second R9 280X in the future if needed. Would I then need a higher power psu (like 750W)? Does the asus mobo even support dual graphics ?
You will indeed need a higher wattage power supply. 750w if not overclocking. If overclocking, I would try to get 800W or greater(although debatable; 750w might work depending on the overclock)

That Asus motherboard will work for Crossfire(dual graphics is different!). It has two PCIe 3.0 lanes that can run at x8 when both are active.
Thanks for the help!
This is what the build looks like atm: http://pcpartpicker.com/p/7C2prH
Cant find the XFX PSU in my area so chose a Seasonic s12g 750W. Also cant find cheaper ram here atm.
