Gaming and Streaming CPU+mobo combo

hi, so i want to build a new gaming pc for league of legends and streaming pc, i want to build a compact pc in the EVGA Hadron. so what i need to find is a good cpu and motherboard combo that will be able to handle streaming and playing league at a good detail. thanks for the help

What budget what country, why the highly overpriced case?

no budget, balls to the walls but id like to get the best price/performance i can as id rather not spend thousands of pounds on a cpu/mobo combo, the UK so any reputable site or amazon, also cause i cant find any other mini itx case that is compact enough and still at handling all my components

And those components are....

Also what's your GPU?

Have you already bought anything?

i havent bought anything yet but im thinking about getting a 1060/1070, i already have storage (500gb ssd with 2tbb hdd) ram 16gb low profile ram

Any ITX case can fit that, and there are far more compact systems than that case, ITX cases like that are almost pointless because you're almost better off getting a MicroATX build

such as the Elite 130 from coolermaster or Core 500 from Fractal, they also still support long GPUs, although I'd get a 480 over a 1060 since a free-sync display is going to be cheaper

do you have a 1080p 144hz display? pretty nice for esports titles, also forget to say tooootally gotta step you up to dota sometime

and if that RAM is DDR3 then you can't really use it

i used to play dota, i didnt like the animations of the AAs and im master on league. Also i have the BenQ XR3501 so 21:9 144hz monitor, about those cases, i really dont like the look of them, and the hadron is the only ive liked the look of, i really like compact cases (im moving from a powermac g5 mod)

I concur. And the performance of the 480 will only increase with time whereas the 1060 is probably peaked (if history is to repeat itself yet again... I imagine it will).

You don't need to spend a ton of cash on a good mini-itx case as @Streetguruhas already pointed out. The two suggested are great cases imo, but there are a couple other great contenders. Do your research on pcpartpicker to see what's comparable.

I second the build here... there are places you could cut costs but definitely not necessary.

Also totally forgot about the UK part, one sec

The what now?

Far as the case goes, still like strange to buy a large ITX case over something like truly compact, especially something so expensive that adds nothing really to performance and all that

Try the thermaltake Core V1, it's an ITX Cube case

Or even the fractal Design nano which is only $60

thanks for the harware i should get ill add them to my basket and probably buy them but again i just want a super compact case that looks attractive to me, such as the dancase a4, the hadron and even https://www.quietpc.com/cooltek-jonsbo-umx1 so the nano s is too small and the cooler master case looks horrendous so if you can reccomend a super compact itx case that fits full sized gpus then id be glad to look at them

I only care about function lol

the nano S is also pretty large for an ITX case, if you want the EVGA case just get it, or maybe Lian-Li/InWin has something you'd want they focus almost entirely on aesthetics with most of their cases

well its going to be on my desk the entire time (im getting a updesk/equivolent) so id rather it look nice

Asus maximus VIII Impact + 6700K.

Just mount the PC to your desk

Those boards are just silly, who needs all that for an ITX board, you could go X99 ITX for that price point lol

Quality costs money.

You going with an external capture card? Or webcam? I would go m-atx and add a blackmagic card, and also bump it up to a 6800k if you will be gaming/streaming on the same box. Lots of new games are utilizing more cores so it would be nice to have the extra headroom.

6800k and whatever compatible board is itx not sure if there is one though.

There exists like 1 ITX X99 board from ASrock

lol microatx is a dying breed as well. i suggest an atx. easy to upgrade and better cooling. don't really need itx in a rig like this unless you'd like to downscale and keep the hadron included. even a 6700k has limited micro market
