Gaming/3D Software Pc

Hello everyone recently my HP Pavilion m9250f finally bit the dust after 5 years of faithful service. The motherboard was to blame. So instead of get a new mobo, I'm deciding to build my first PC. The good news is that I have most of the parts ready to go for example I have two NVIDA video cards  (Geforce 8600 Gt and a Geforce Gt 640 super clocked) two optical drives(Sony model no.AD-7201S) and four hard drives. Two of them are from Toshiba laptops 320 GB and 500GB, plus two Hitachi DeskStar 500 Gb still works after 5 years but that’s got to go. However

I want a fast computer that is able to handle programs like Blender, Auto Desk Inventor, Google Sketch up since I’m getting a 3D Printer ( In case if anyone is wondering it's a RidgeBot 3d printer w/o upgrades $400 and 10x10x10 volume and that’s inches) and also I’m a gamer and interested to convert from consoles and play steam. I love options and I’m open minded so fire away. The Adata SSD looks good so I’m getting it.

Some requirements:

Since I’m getting 3D Printer the limit is $500-600*(Since I have some parts already it should bring the cost down)

Water Cooled

A fast AMD or Intel processer overclock possible (I’m leaning toward Intel since its more future proof)

Whatever motherboard you think fits my bill (3 PCI express slots & USB 3.0)

I’m thinking of running both video cards so give me the pros and cons if it’s possible and that means a good power supply

8 GB of ram DDR3

A nice case

That’s it

I would to thank in advance whoever answers my questions and Thanks again

Hey. So welcome to the PC community it first of all. First off if you're looking at 500-600 dollar build, for what it is you want to do, intel is not your friend this time round. You're going to want to look into an AMD FX 8350 processor. Its an 8 core CPU that consistently trades blows with the Intel i5 3570k for about 60 to 100 less depending on where you get it and sales etc. The graphics cards you have: you cannot run both of them. To run Nvidia cards in SLI they have to be the same card otherwise it won't work. I.e. two 640s. I personally would stay with the 640 over the 8600, at least to get you up and running. Doing the things you are wanting to do is going to require a bit more performance than what your 640 can put out. On steam games like source engine games you might be fine with it on medium settings. Motherboard I would look into an Asus 990Fx Gen 3 R2. RAM G.Skill makes good RAM for relatively cheap. Id look for 8Gb of 1866Mhz. A Rosewill RG630-S12 630 watt Power Supply should be plenty for your PC, even if you decide to upgrade your GPU anytime soon itd be fine. Adata SSDs are a great choice for a boot drive. They're cheap, reliable, and relatively fast as well. A 60Gb Adata SSD would be perfect. You could probably get away with the two Toshiba drives you have for storage but I wouldn't recommend it. If you could I would look into getting a WD Blue or Black 2Tb Drive for pretty much all your storage needs.
