Gamecube controller for around $10?

Ok, so Austin's public libraries are holding a Super Smash Bros. Brawl tournament that I would like to participate in, however I do not currently own a wii or a controller for that matter. However, I have heard of Dolphin, which I just installed, and intend to practice and learn the ways to pwn the nubs.  I haven't played it in 2 years so I'm a bit rusty. I already ordered a gamecube to usb interface, so I'm set there.

I recently found this on amazon, however it has 5 star and 1 star reviews, the same goes for all the other third party gamecube controller manufacturers. Not sure whether I want to roll the dice on this one, or spend a few more dollars for a used nintendo controller like this one.

Have any of you bought a third party controller? If so, how was your experience with it? What do you recommend? FYI, I don't have Paypal atm, so ebay is not a viable option.

I have used a third party gamecube controller. They aren't bad at all. Just the trigger buttons are a bit stiff, not a loose as my wavebird ones. I got two for 11 and gambled with it knowing the reviews weren't the best.
