Galaxy Note 4: How to disable MTP/PTP automatic mounting?

Hi,

I noticed every time I charge my phone through usb port, the internal and external storage do get mounted automatically. And I cant find the option to unmount it while charging. My previous phone doesnt mount my storage until I mount it myself. Anyone know how to disable this?

Root it.
I owned a Note 4 and there is no such option as "charge only" like on the Oneplus One or something with modded ROM's.

The only way to achieve that is rooting it and installing a custom ROM.

Or get a charging cable, one with the data pins removed.

Alternatively look up the pin out of a regular usb cable and disable the data pins yourself.

Yeah but that would cost you money, which I think is stupid for suxh a little annoyance.
But hey, that's my opinion.
