G1.Sniper B5 or GA-H87-D3H for my gaming rig?

I'm building a gaming machine, and I need help deciding which motherboard to choose. I've narrowed my options to these two (because of their similar price etc.):

G1.Sniper B5: http://www.gigabyte.com/products/product-page.aspx?pid=4594#ov

and

GA-H87-D3H: http://www.gigabyte.com/products/product-page.aspx?pid=4491#ov

Of course, all other suggestions are very welcome!

Obviously, the major problem here is deciding if the better chipset outweighs the advantages a gaming-oriented motherboard provides. Help me decide! :D

Which cpu are you planning to use? ☺

depends if you want to oc or not the b5 has better audio and a few other features but the z87 can oc and things like sound cards can be added

i would personaly allways go with a Z87 mobo. instead of B85 or H87. if you wanne go into overclocking. with an unlocked (k) version cpu.

If you gonne use a locked cpu (non k) then you would also be fine with a H87 or B85.

Thanks for the replies!

Well, I plan on using the i5-4570, since I think it would suit my needs perfectly without any overclocking.

So, no overclocking; but is the H87 chipset really better for gaming? I could use the better audio from the G1.Sniper because I have decent speakers and I wouldn't like to buy a sound card just yet, because of lack of money. And I would sacrifice better sound for better gaming performance, if it really is better.

Z87 is kind of expensive for me...

How about this: which one of these two motherboards would you choose for your gaming rig?

I would go with the b5 sniper you posted originally then if you are not overclocking its a nice board with an Intel nic and good built in sound which is good for gaming online and not needing a sound card
