So a parts list for a gaming HTPC. I don't know how it got to be so expensive, I kind of went overboard on the motherboard so I can upgrade easily. And I was going to get 8 GB of RAM but decided to pay up now and get 16 to help out the APU, also got 2133 for the same reason and like an extra $25. I was also thinking maybe to not get a discrete GPU but then figured I don't got anything to lose by trying to cross fire the GPU cores with the GPU. Just want to make sure the card I chose would work fine or if there is a better option.

I would ditch the APU if you are going for a dedicated GPU higher than 240/250 (the dual graphics capable cards) as you will get better performance out of a better single card and dedicated CPU

I would double check that the GPU will fit in the case (pretty sure it will).

Also I think you could fit a better cpu cooler in there like the Corsair H60 http://ca.pcpartpicker.com/part/corsair-cpu-cooler-h60cw9060007ww

or the Noctua U9B-SE2 http://ca.pcpartpicker.com/part/noctua-cpu-cooler-nhu9bse2
