Hello guys!
Few days back i had the weird problem with overclocking my FX8350 with crossfire setup...
but im kinda confused... hmm after few days of tweaking , tests, crashs, lock ups... i finallllyyy managed to get a stable overclock for myFX8350 at 4.75ghz... but the thing is.. the voltage is supprisingly low for a 4.75ghz overclock...
my multiplier 's set to 22.0 and the Bus Speed at 215, giving me a core clock speed of 4746.4Mhz @ 1.467v Bios (CPU-Z showing 1.452v)
Stress test with prime95 didnt seem to fail nor lock up my system... i did it over 4 hours..
buttt!!!! strange thing is... sometimes my mobo would refuse to POST... when i push the power button it will come on but for about 2 seconds it shuts itself off.. and i'll have to clear the Bios settings by pushing the bios reset button on the I/O side of my CROSSHAIR V FORMULA-Z...then when i power it on, i will get this msg (OVERCLOCK FAILED , PRESS F1 or DEL to ENTER SETUP) after getting into the bios, i then load up my settings and F10.... wallah! it boots again! i even did prime95 tests and i still dont get any core fails...
There's 2 things i would really like to know about ~_~
#1 : does low cpu core voltage damage my FX8350 dispite no cores failing in prime95 testing?
#2 :
