So I have just put together my new desktop, I have an fx 8350 (stock 4.0ghz) a corsair h100i, asrock fatal1ty killer 990fx, nzxt source 530. In the bios my cpu is idling at around 38 oC to 40 oC, this seams a little high to me considering i have the h100i installed. The ambient room temperature is around 24 oC. What do you guys think?
I do have the FX 8320 and my idle temps are at the same level (~38°C @ IDLE).Sensor reading HWiNFO64.
I am using a Noctua cooler. (Air)
What are your max temps under load ?
the temp sensor has been known to be inaccurate at low temps. wouldnt worry.
Well I haven't gotten to test my temp under load yet as I only put together the desktop today, I just had a quick look in the bios and thought that 40oc seamed a bit high. I was thinking to myself maybe the thermal paste had a bubble in it or something. I'll let you know what the temps are once I run some tests. :)
