FX 8350 motherboard

Hey

im planing on building a fx 8350 but i am not relly good at finding motherboard,

 can any body help me?

if can you send me link, thank you

Why.

Any of these should work: http://pcpartpicker.com/parts/motherboard/#s=17&c=16,17,18&sort=a6

As for which one it depends on the other parts of your build and what you want to do with your computer. Overclocking? Crossfire?

I would personally go with one of these:

i mete overclock, and im not going to sli/crossfire the grafics i have now is the gtx 560 ti and im going to use that in the new build an the swict it to the best price to proaformes card later.

From Logan’s last video that is looking like a nice little processor. Here is a 990FX board that has been proven rock solid and comes with a 5 year warranty.

I do also like Vortex88’s suggestion with the Gigabyte board too. Remember the Gigabyte board is an extended ATX so your case will have to accommodate it.

Best of luck and enjoy your build.

but what about the Gigabyt GA-990FXA-UD5?

The Newegg site has a video on this board. You are now down to looking at boards like the GA-990FXA-UD5 and making the final decision for yourself. I do like Gigabyte boards as I have personally had great success with them. I am actually running one of my computers with a FX-6300 and a Gigabyte UD3 motherboard. Look at the features, price and what you are building for and make an informed decision. We can only make suggestions. Let us know how it goes.

the gigabyte UD5 is a poor choice

the sabertooth and crosshair motherboards are overpriced, and dont overclock as well as the TA990FXE

as far as price/performance and overclocking nothing can beat the Biostar TA990FXE

But i live i denmark where stuff is more expensive, like the  gigabyte 990FXA-UD7 is 197 dollars on newegg, where i live its 272 dollars. but do Newegg ship worldwide?

ups its 194 on newegg sorry

Do you have a local computer shop you can go to where you live? If so, drop in and talk to them about what you are looking to build and for what purposes you intend to do with the system. I find my local shop here in Canada are more than happy to talk to me about product, features, functionality and so on.

i have one down the street but it suck, its wayy overpriced and the seem like the not the most motherboard hevy placs and you are proboly better any way :), because they sound like if you talk to them and ask for any ideas they want you to buy from them.

Wait... You're calling the ud5 crap and suggesting a biostar board instead? You can't be serious...

The Gigabyte UD5 and UD3 are both solid boards.

read the benchmarks, the UD5 scores lower in all of them

also note that the highest ever bulldozer overclock was done on a TA990FXE

I would still never buy or recommend a biostar.

thats your personal choice

but that dosent make them bad motherboards, fact is that right now they offer one of the best 990FX and Z77 motherboards availiable

Maybe they've stepped their game up, but I'd never buy a knock-off.

not sure who youre calling a knock off, but Biostar has been around longer than gigabyte and basically created the high end overclocking market along with ABit and EPox during the K6 and Athlon days

they just had a bit of a bad run since then but have been making a comeback in the last year or so

I don't know if you're calling Biostar a knock-off, but it's not. Biostar is actually pretty good, but it hasn't made a name like Gigabyte or ASUS for itself yet( in my point of view).
