FX-8320 on m-ATX

Say I got the best m-ATX board from asus for AM3+ and put an 8320 or 8350 in it, with a top down noctua cooler, and overclocked it to at least 4.5ghz. Would my computer catch on fire?

This is actually a huge debate on my own AMD upgrade thread at linustechtips.com. What do you guys say?

4.5GHz isn't the problem it's whatever motherboard you pick needs to have at least a 6+2 digital VRM power phase to safely run an 8-core CPU on it.

With that said, there are currently no m-ATX AMD socket AM3+ motherboards that have support for 990FX chipset and most certainly dont have digital VRM 6+2 power phase.

I don't know of any good AMD mATX mobos D;

There aren't any. Unless you talk about fm2
