FX-6300 with Cooler Master TX3

Not so much a question as a recommendation based on some experience over the past few days.

If you are looking for a cheap cooler to use with an FX-6300, either for stock or a small overclock, then I would give two thumbs up to the TX3. More so the updated EVO addition. Mine is one of the older ones where the heat pipes cause there to be small furrows on the mounting plate.

I pulled this cooler off of my old dual core Phenom rig to see how it would handle things, and here were the results at stock:

Prime 95 on stock cooler, max temp: 58 degrees Celsius

Prime 95 on TX3, max temp: 34 degrees Celsius

Quite a nice delta there!

thats looks verry impressive to me :)

After a little overclocking, things are still looking fairly good.

I am running the FX-6300 at 4Ghz and temps never get over the mid forties in Prime95, rarely into the mid thirties in daily use. It idles at about 17 degrees.

that seems to be very nice, wenn it comes to aircooler i  realy like cooler master coolers, if you have a good airflow in the case, then those  big air coolers will do a great job, wenn i have the money for it some day i will get a Coolermaster V6 GT or a V8. or a cooler master saidom 240 LC cooler

but the temps you reacht with youre older Tx3, are very inpressive.
