FX 6300+R9 270 or I3 4130+R9 270

Which is better for gaming, a AMD FX 6300 and a AMD R9 270 (not X) or a Intel Core I3 4130 and a AMD R9 270 (not x).

i'd say the fx6300 and r9 270

I'll speak out of personal recommendation.  The R9 270 = Radeon HD 7870 .  I have the AMD FX 6300+ 7870 and it is an amazing combo for the price I paid.  High - Ultra on most games at 1080p.  Plus the Fx 6300 with a nice cooler and motherboard is a nice overclocker.

The performance between the two is mostly the same. I would go with the FX 6300 unless you want a mATX or mITX system.

FX6300. you'll make good use of those extra cores in game that are able to use 2+ that and more cores could make it more future proof.
