So I'm choosing between two computers one has FX-6100 and the second one i5-3350p whitch one would be better for gaming ? and is the i5 worth spending an extra buck?

FX6100 older bulldozer architecture, its unlocked so you can overclock it,it has week per core performance.
The i5-3350 is a much stronger cpu for gameing strong per core performamce, you will not be able to overclock it.
i would go with the the AMD 6 core (i would recommend the 6350 or the 6300).
i do not know how much you are wanting to spend but amazon and newegg lists the 3350p at $180. the AMD FX 6350 is at $140 (with a + $10 off w/ promo code EMCXMWR26, ends 8/21) on newegg; also the AMD FX 6300 is at $120 @newegg.

the AMD 6 cores are great at gaming and will do better in the comming years with the next consoles being based on the AMD FX cores. we are seeing games in deveopement now being forced to move to more threaded workloads (instead of the single large thread) because of the AMD consoles.

AMD players who’ve been having sub-par performance on the PC will suddenly get a massive boost – just because of being able to take the engine and re-implement it as multi-threaded.

There pre biluds
What is the computer going to be used for?
the benchmarks show that the FX6100 is very close in performance to the i5 you are looking at. the price of the i5 (being $180 compaired to the FX at $110) does not give you a 63% performance increase. the few benchmarks on cpu boss show the i5 is better the the FX by 15% (in 2 benchmarks) to 30% (in 1) and in the physx the FX is 26% better then the i5.
as i said in the first post

The 6100 is old bulldozer cores. A newer amd cpu with piledriver cores like the fx 6300 or 6350 will give a sizeable boost in performance. Also the amd 8320 is only 144$ on pcpartpicker.com so i suggest that one. But to answer your actual question the i5 3350p beats the fx 6100 but i think the p part means it disables hd? Correct me if im wrong.
The computer will most definetly be used for gaming because it's goint to a 13 year old.
And I it would be great if u would just help me decide between these two and stop showing off with your american prices :D I'm from east europe delivery+taxes cost about half as much as the parts you are offering me, so the system is prebuilt from a shop in my country.
As I see there's just one vote for AMD-6100 and none for i5-3350p.
were are you getting the computer, what GPU is comming with it?
they both come with GeForce GTX 650 Ti OC 1GB DDR5. I don't think it realy matters where I'm getting them but if you want to know http://www.kilobaitas.lt/KILOBAITAS_staliniai_/Kilobaitas/Kompiuteris_AM... the FX 6100 option and the http://www.kilobaitas.lt/KILOBAITAS_staliniai_/Kilobaitas/Kompiuteris_ZA...i5-3350p option
