They're pretty much neck and neck but the 4300 does a touch better in games and will likely OC higher.

The FX 4300 has higher stock calcualtion speeds along with a larger gap for overclocking! If I were you I'd save the extra 20$ and get the 6300

4300 is better by a little but phenom II is $45 less.
