Future Proof GPU?

So another post for my new setup. Now I am onto the GPU. And I am wanting a system that will be able to cope with the demands of future games at around 60 FPS. The main game I am Looking at is BF4.

For the price... i am looking at around £200-£300 and I don't necessarily care whether it is AMD/Nvidia or Crossfire/SLI just something good inside my price range.

Looking over at some I have been drawn towards getting 2x GTX 650 Ti Boost GPUs but how will these cope.

i am going to set these up with a AMD fx 8350 and may overclock it but what are your general thoughts on what GPU to buy???

2 weak cards is not future proofing, it's cementing yourself into this generation. Video cards could potentially advance a lot at any time, so going with a midrange (performance card) instead of a low end or enthusiast (some enthusiast cards are worth it in the long run, like the 7970, it's still in the top). Otherwise you're paying more for less. Going with one strong card and then adding another is a better idea of "future-proofing", if you want to keep this system for a few years.

Thanks. How would this HD 7950 perform:

Looking at TropiKo's comment I think i will go for a powerful card and get a second one in the future. I chose this one because it is £50 cheaper and it says it is overclocked.

This is the best method. Get a top tier card for this generation, then add another later on when the price plummets on the card and crossfire it.

I'd go for the best HD7970 you could get for your budget.

HD 7970 it is...
